1/2 crm Wild form. Bright scarlet flowers, about 7-8 cm in size, with only four petals. For turf roofs, wild meadows and the like. Culture-bound species, now less common, occurs mainly in Skåne and Öland. Cultivation from seed: Sow directly on the plant site when the soil has warmed up. Water the soil before sowing and keep moist during the germination period. Can also be sown in autumn for earlier flowering. Self-injures easily.
